Filmmaking workshops for BBC Blast
I led a filmmaking workshop for BBC Blast when it visited Medway last week – 15 students, 4 cameras, 4 hours!
We covered areas of basic camera operation, interviewing techniques and production roles. I also took part in a ’speed dating’ Meet The Professionals session where industry professionals were grilled by 50 young people who want their jobs.
Blast aims to inspire and motivate young people to develop their creative talents and showcase their art, dance, film, music, writing, games and fashion on a range of digital platforms.
