A film documenting The Seaside Sister’s residency on board LV21. Dubbed the queens of coastal themed craft in this review on Vintage By Hemingway, visitors were treated to vintage seaside inspired souvenirs and workshops. Nick Brown of the rare vinyl record shop Intoxica treated us to a surf and nautical themed DJ set. And the enchanting mermaid aka soprano Sophia Brumfitt lured visitors deep into the ship with her beautiful voice.

Stirring Spirits Film Production

I produced this film for a youth theatre project devised by Play On Words Community Theatre, filmed on location at Fort Amherst and The Great Lines, Chatham.

Stirring Spirits was a free eight week drama and filming making project, culminating in a special outdoor performance at Fort Amherst, Chatham. Audiences were invited to travel to the different locations with the performers, taking inspiration from each setting and characters from times gone by.

This film was projected as a backdrop to the live performance, enabling the performers to interact with the projected visuals. Watch Stirring Spirits here.

Box Breakers Video Production for Dada-South

Dada-South supports deaf and disabled artists through the provision of inclusive and innovative opportunities and through investment in their creativity. I was commissioned to produce a film of the All About Us performance which is the result of the Box Breakers Performing Arts Residency.

Box Breakers was a 12 week Performing Arts Residency based at Valley Park Community School. The participants from various schools and groups in Maidstone, had the opportunity to shape and direct their own work resulting in a unique performance experience. This residency has been led by the UK’s foremost Deaf and disabled theatre practitioners, No Handbags – Unlimited Theatre and Jenny Sealey, from the internationally renowned Graeae Theatre Company.

Dance 4 Your Life Photography Assignment

I’ve been commissioned to document Dance4YourLife, a distinctive dance and health programme specifically designed for young people aged 14 years old.

Professional and experienced dance artists will devise schemes of work and deliver them in 9 schools, engaging up to 270 young people across North Kent.

The first shoot produced images for future marketing material and will be the start of an ongoing photo journal.

I Shot The Arts Council Cover Page

The Arts Council have published images I shot of Reijo Kela’s Hei People public art project in their monthly magazine… and I make the front cover.

The article also publishes other images that I shot whilst documenting the project. As well as shooting digital stills I also filmed the installation of the artwork in HD and in timelapse formats. The timelapse film was projected during launch events at the various locations that the Hei People ‘appeared’ and will be incorporated into a documentary due for release later this year.

Despite a number of incidents of vandalism the Hei People managed to create quite a stir across the North Kent region.
