A film documenting The Seaside Sister’s residency on board LV21. Dubbed the queens of coastal themed craft in this review on Vintage By Hemingway, visitors were treated to vintage seaside inspired souvenirs and workshops. Nick Brown of the rare vinyl record shop Intoxica treated us to a surf and nautical themed DJ set. And the enchanting mermaid aka soprano Sophia Brumfitt lured visitors deep into the ship with her beautiful voice.

Small Changes, Big Impact was shot at Brockhill Park Performing Arts College, the only School of Creativity in Kent, during 2010-11. The film was commissioned by CCE and Creative Partnerships to highlight the benefits of creative learning in education. It will be screened at the Festival of Britain at London’s SouthBank Centre where there will be a debate that will explore the changing landscape of learning in Britain with a specific focus on the role of creativity and what this might mean for schools in the future.
The exhibition will then tour the country visiting Schools of Creativity and other local cultural venues.
A film documenting day 3 of Figure Ground’s artist mini residency on board Light Vessel 21 at Gillingham Pier when the public were welcomed onto the lightship to explore the installation art. The 5DmkII definitely helps when filming in low light conditions, sometimes in confined spaces too!
