In a week when announcements of rail fare increases hit the news headlines I was commissioned to shoot footage of King’s Ferry coaches, a cheaper alternative travel option available to commuters. It was aired on BBC national news the same day providing invaluable exposure for the client.
It was an early start to catch shots of the coaches leaving the depot at Gillingham and the first wave of commuters boarding. Additional B-Roll was then shot at Canary Wharf. A rush back to the edit suite for a rough cut that was then couriered to BBC White City. The story, including our footage, aired on the BBC News that evening and had national coverage throughout the week.
