Welcome To Medway (olympics / corporate promo)

This short film commissioned by Medway 2012 Team will be used to promote Medway nationally and internationally as both a first-class tourist destination and a sporting centre of excellence. Featuring Olympic medallist Steve Backley, World record holder Danni Crates and events and clubs across Medway.

Welcome To Medway had its first public screening on 27 Sept 2008 when it was projected 40ft high onto Rochester Castle during Medway's launch of the Cultural Olympiad.

Hei People - Timelapse (arts)

A short time lapse film commissioned by North Kent Local Authorities Arts Partnership, NKLAAP, to document the installation of Reijo Kela's Hei People.

A series of four wonderfully wacky public art installations consisting of 646 dressed scarecrow-esque figures made from wood, straw and dirt are appearing magically overnight at secret locations across north Kent in Dartford, Gravesham, Medway and Swale.

As well as designing the nklaap website we are also producing a
short film of the project set for release later this year.

Memory - Timelapse (arts)

A short film combining time lapse and realtime footage that documents the installation of "Memory", an exhibition by Medway-based artist Wendy Daws. Commissioned by Medway Arts for Rochester Art Gallery.

Rhythmix - Access All Areas (education / youth)

This film was commissioned by Rhythmix to document the Access Rhythmix workshops and showcases at the De La Warr Pavilion.

The Access Rhythmix day is funded by Youth Music, one of the National Lottery’s great success stories. Set up in 1999, with a remit to support musicmaking activities for some of the UK’s most disadvantaged young people, Youth Music has gone on to reach over one and a half million children and young people, encouraging their talents, building their confidence and transforming the landscape of musical opportunity throughout the UK. The music-making supported is of the widest variety, from hip-hop and dj-ing to classical and jazz.

NOKCS promo (construction / corporate promo)

This promo edit was produced for the NOKCS project and aims to encapsulate some of the themes investigated in the full video production (45 mins).

Spaghetti Weston have been involved in this project from its commencement. After branding and designing the NOKCS corporate identity, website, marketing material and merchandise, we were commissioned to produce a promotional DVD for distribution to employers and construction industry leaders.
